Artist name is Ray however is a female: Ray Cohen. 
She was born in 1891 and died in May in 1983 and was buried in Montreal Canada, her birthplace and hometown. 
She studied under Doctor Arthur Lismer, of the Group Of Seven, at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
Upon her graduation, she was awarded two scholarships and honours by Doctor Lismer, and she then continued her Art Studies with other distinguished Art Teachers. She has had several one-woman and group Art Shows in Montreal, and received favourable comments from the Art Critics there. She also studied music at McGill University and played the violin in a String Ensemble and later in a Symphony Orchestra in Montreal. This background of music is now being portrayed in her Art, through depicting various movements of vibration and colour, thus formulating a deep involvement of tones and variations in her Art, consistently conveying her theme to the fullest of "Music Through Art".
