We use a high quality black bear faux fur fabric used in the taxidermy trade and for making top of the range faux bearskin rugs. Its the closest I can find to the late 1970’s/80’s experimental faux fur by Dawson’s of Yorkshire used by the guards. The British M.O.D are now burning expired fur bearskins rather than selling on to the trade (good for bears but not the collector).
The
faux fur can be shaken out is almost indistinguishable from real fur.
