This is a membership badge of the Imperial Veterans Association that was kept in the vacant house of my grandparents, who were born in the Meiji and Taisho eras. (^-^)

I think it belonged to my grandfather, who was born in the Meiji era.
A veterans' association is an organization made up of retired military personnel. It is commonly used interchangeably with the term "veterans' association," but the veterans' association appears to have been made up of those in the reserves. It refers to an organization made up of retired military personnel before the war, and there was a national organization called the Imperial Veterans' Association.
