Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX+ on the B side and NM- on the A side, numerically a 92 and 95 respectively (with B5 playing more in the 90 range) and this is relative to a bit of surface noise on the B-side that wasn't on the A-side which played about as close to perfect as could be.  It's a really unique mix and I played it a couple of times because it sounded wicked good (especially Thriller).  Visually it looks outright NM- showing only faint marks however based on the B-side play I am scoring it as EX. Finally, if you're wondering why I'm listing the issues on the B-side first, let me recommend that you play the B-side first (even if you're just looking, try it on your own) so that the album closes with Thriller. This was probably the 20th time I've done it. It's perfect and you'll love it.
The sleeve is scored as EX, more like EX- but 100% better than VG+ and numerically I am scoring it an 85.  Most noticeably on the bottom left corner there is a crease impression running 13mm and within that corner on the bottom is light wear. The other corners show lesser wear.  Running in from the spine is a light crease at 8mm. On the top front gatefold there are three areas of color chipping with the longest at 3mm.  On the bottom gatefold right side there is an 8mm area of color chipping.  To the right of the CBS Mastersound logo is a dimple on the opening seam at 3mm. On the rear to the left of the credits there is an area of small discoloration.  Running down from the rear gatefold is another light crease at 11mm. The insert shows only light wear.  Straight on at arms length it looks NM- and is in the ballpark of as good as it will get.
Album will be mailed in a cardboard mailer between cardboard with bubble wrap.  If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
