Designer Jessica Ogden and A.P.C.’s Jean Touitou, whose mutual penchant for quilting first brought them together in 2010 to design a collection of patchwork coverings created from archival A.P.C. fabric, have teamed up with Anthropologie. The collaboration, dubbed Semiologie by A.P.C. after the science of semiology (the study of life signs in social life) uses Anthropologie heritage textiles, bringing the brand’s pretty plaids and paisleys together to evoke the community of quilting bees past and the cool design traditions that are the hallmark of A.P.C. This collection was released in stores 11/2011.
