This Antique Flask was Manufactured in the United Kingdom for C. Klausberg Bros of New York.  C. Klausberg Bros was known for producing surgerical instruments and especially famous for manufactering Straight Razors.  They used the C. Klauberg Bros name from 1837 to 1861.  They continued working in New York but the name was changed to C. Clausberg & Bros. and they used several trademarks in the Razor Business.

Carl Klausberg came out of retirement during the Civil War to again run the business.  He imported raw metals from both the United Kingdom and Germany.. This flasked has the English Stamped Makers Mark, along with "Made in England".  It has a screwed Pewter top, and is an excellent pocket size.  It has a Mark of 71-12 Oz on the underside.

This would be a great conversation piece for the next sporting event, and also for sharing a wee dram!
