THE HOME NATIONAL BANK OF LEXINGTON, SOUTH CAROLINA


A pretty $10 from the only issuing bank in this Columbia suburb. The HNB was founded in December 1908 and constructed a new building in 1912. This bank building was one of only five commercial buildings to survive the downtown fire of 1916. However, liquidation eventually caught up with the bank on July 15, 1930. PMG Choice Very Fine 35 with pink rubber stamped signatures that includes President Saml. B. George.
