This is a Pedestal Dining Table, originally designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. This particular piece was produced in the USA in the 1960s. The base is formed of cast iron which is coated in a white satin finish. Its top is made of smooth white satin laminate and is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. It retains a partial Knoll International label reflecting their 320 Park Avenue location’s address, allowing us to properly date the piece.

This table measures 42 inches diameter and is 28.25 inches tall. The piece is all original and there are several surface blemishes. There is scuffing to the edges, and the base coating has chipped in some sections. The white finish on the base has slightly yellowed. Overall, this table is in good condition with apparent age. Please see photos.
