These are original Emeco “Nine-O” Upholstered Bar Stools, designed by Ettore Sottsass in 2008. The listed price includes one stool, and we have several stools available for purchase. Ettore Sottsass worked with Emeco to design his last ever chair - the Nine-0 – which made its debut shortly after he passed away at the age of 90. These stools are built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Aluminum is an excellent material for seating as it is lightweight, yet extremely strong. The stools are engraved with the Emeco logo on the back.

Each stool measures 22 inches deep, 20.25 inches wide, and is 42.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 30 inches. These stools are in terrific shape, and the brushed aluminum is clean and relatively free of major blemishes. There are some scuffs and scrapes present on the frames, and the seat pads have a few small marks. Overall, these stools are in excellent condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
