Sevres Louis Phillipe Service Des Bals Gold Monogram Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1840

Antique French porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with the fancy gold gilt monogram for King Louis Philippe in the center. With gold gilding along the edge. This was part of the Service des Bals ordered for use at the royal estates. Both are marked on the bottom with the correct incised marks, the cup is also marked in blue Sevres with a date code for 1834 and the saucer is marked with a date code for 1840.

Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.

The cup measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide x 3 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 6 1/8 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
