This daguerreotype features a light eyed young boy with freckles and longer hair fantastically posed with much more emotion than typically found in a child daguerreotype. He wore plaid trousers. 

The 1/6 plate is not sealed and the half case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Some of the dust specks are on the glass.
