This is an antique Elgin FAHYS Monarch 0, 15J, Case #539332, Movement #3209221 gold-filled pocket watch. It features a beautiful yellow gold case and elegant Roman numerals on the white dial. The mechanical (manual) movement has 15 jewels and a full hunter closure. The watch was manufactured in 1889.
Condition: Needs repair. It is completely intact and seems to work sporadically. I wind it up and hear it tick and the hands moved a little but then it stopped. Wound again, same thing. Snaps closed completely. Still shiny with very little wear. Check out all the photos to see up close pictures.
