Up for sale is Fables by Arnold Lobel, a very early hardcover edition SIGNED and REMARQUED by the author/illustrator. It's inscribed "For Walter, From Arnold Lobel. June 1981." The author/illustrator also did a little sketch of a pelican. Also includes newsletter put out by the author highlighting his Caldecott Medal win for this same book.
This is one of several signed books I acquired from the the estate of a children's book librarian, who collected numerous signed children's books, that I will be auctioning off in the coming days.
