British Virgin Island 1976 FM Dollar. Matte BU, Rare 1,800 Mintage, Few Released to the Public and now one of the most difficult dates to find. I would guess less then 100 coins released. Other Dates 1977 and 1977 where struck also in Matte BU, but all recalled. Matte version were made for 1975, 1976 and 1977, Mostly 800 struck for the Matte Version. The 1976 listed 1,800, but I would guess the number should be the same as 800 for other years. Many of the coins were not release and I would guess fewer than 100 coins release and balance recalled. All the other years are not found, this is the first I have seen in Matte BU and very rare and not the common Specimen Proof-like or the Silver Proof which is plentiful. Very hard 1976 Franklin Mint Matte BU, and very few released to the public. A keeper for your collection. .

International Express Shipping with Insurance Required for $100 and higher. USPS Cost is $45.50 with $100 insurance included, additional $1 per each Additional $100 Insurance coverage.
