in Philadelphia: Willis P. Hazard, 1856, 14 pages, small 4to. One of the Rarest
Children Books ever Printed in USA. Numerous pictures, all hand colored. Front
page detached, repaired on the reverse with scotch tape. The scotch tape is
removed but left marks behind. A very small piece of scotch tape left a mark on
page 10 on removal. Similarly, another small piece on pages 13-14. According to Rühle
The story of Jimmy Sliderlegs and other funny stories and pictures is an
English translation of selected poems from Jugendspiegel für Kinder von 4-8
Jahren (1848) and like the German original was illustrated by Jakob Julius
