The statue does have a few issues. First, the metal sword is not original. It is the correct 1/6 scale from a WWII Japanese officer figure and is good quality. The replacement sword fits through the top hand but does not go all the way into the bottom hand. It does look like she's holding it with both hands when displayed from many angles, like the very first picture in this listing. I also had to remove a bit of the bottom of the sword to make it fit through the upper hand.
The other main issue is the left hand being repaired. As seen in the 4th picture, it has a few cracks from being glued back into place. This is also difficult to see from many angles, like with the sword not fitting into the lower hand.
This could be your chance to own this rare statue for a much lower price! It still displays quite well from the proper angle. Please examine all pictures carefully for the best idea of condition and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
