A cute story in verse about a
post-mouse who delivers letters along Squeak Street. Each house looks different
and the occupants all have different occupations or interests, including
wealthy Old Bun, Pink-Paw the artist and Quick Sticks who plays in a band
called The Squeaky Chicks. We see inside each house and they all have a claim
to fame, from the yummiest house to the wettest house. It's a fun little story
by Emily Rodda and there are lots of things to look at in the illustrations by
Andrea McLean.
