Up for sale, a 2008 Fender American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original G&G hardshell case, hangtags, and case candy. The bass is fitted with a brand new Fender Road Worn '60s neck, and the original neck is also included (truss rod on the original neck is non-functional).

While the features of this bass seem conventional, it's actually quite uncommon to see any '60s spec American Vintage '62 Fender Jazz Bass produced from 1982-2012 with a three knob configuration. The vast majority produced had Stack Knob controls, and this particular Jazz Bass features the Volume/Volume/Tone configuration introduced on the model in '62.

Via the stock black bobbin pickup pair, the sound is equal parts low end warmth and midrange cut, with the smooth growl and upper midrange burp of the bridge pickup blending with the fullness and thump of the neck position single coil. Weighing 9lbs 5oz, this American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
