Royal Worcester Hand Painted Aesthetic & Gilt Elephant Handle Miniature Ewer
Nice antique British earthenware miniature ewer with an elephant handle painted in green with gold highlights to imitate verdigris bronze. Decorated with hand painted crimson red, blue, green, and gold aesthetic motifs. With gold highlights to the relief molding. Also has gold daubs over the ivory ground. Marked on the bottom with the Royal Worcester mark in green with a date code for 1883.
Has crazing typical of earthenware, some spots of staining to the crazing, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide x 3 5/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
