Doulton Burslem Hand Painted Pink Yellow & Raised Gold Floral & Chintz Chocolate Pot
Nice antique bone china chocolate pot. Decorated with partially hand painted (hand colored) pink, yellow, and blue floral designs with raised gold highlights over a white background with clouded / sponged gold gilt daubs. Has a gold aesthetic chintz pattern over a cream background above. Gold highlights to a cream handle with relief molded leaf design. Marked on the bottom with a crown over Doulton Burslem. This mark was used by Doulton between 1886 to 1891.
Has crazing typical of bone china and some wear to the gilding. The pot has a tight crack extending off the rim near the handle. The lid has a tight discolored crack extending down the inner rim and another tight discolored crack through part of the top, as well as some small spots of staining.
Measures approximately 6 inches wide from spout to handle x 9 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
