Very heavy heart selling this, it's too large for the space I have. These are rare and beautiful beasts and add instant gravitas to any period bathroom. It really is beautiful.

Vitreous china wash basin embedded in a marble platform measuring 76 x 63 cm 

Marble back measuring 76 x 45 cm 

3 marble unit components: two side panels measuring 60 x 13 cm and one front panel measuring 69 x 13 cm 

2 beautiful detailed and reeded legs 

Original Glass shelf 

Original taps with gorgeous trap cover that covers the overflow.

Obviously some age wear and tear, but nothing outstanding. Really is in remarkable condition for it's age

In perfect working order when take out, no leaks or major cracks in the sink. There is an historic repair to a marble crack - carried out donkeys years ago - I Have photographed the back to show this was properly repaired. One of the side panels has also been repaired - it’s not something that’s noticeable 

I have put this up to photograph, so it’s not properly installed and it weighs a tonne - I have included a poor quality pic of it in situ in the large Edinburgh house that it came from. 

A stunning sink, in original antique condition, with its original glass shelf. It’s hard to come by sinks with this much gravitas nowadays - this is a truly beautiful piece
