Fender Japan JV Stratocaster model ST-115 - built 1982.
The ST-115 was the top of the range non export model. Very accurate replica of an original 1957 Strat.
Pencil neck date 8 - 4 - 82 - Pots date 26th week of 1982

I’m not going to rant on about the early Japanese Fender guitars, it's all been said a thousand times before… if you're still reading you know exactly how desirable these early JVs are. If you think it's a Squire then close the page now.

This is the top of the heap - the most expensive model built for the Japanese internal market - nitro finish - red bottom Fullerton pickups - spaghetti logo - CTS pots - etc.etc.
This is stock factory spec - never been messed with - the only issue is a previous owner tried to disguise the “JAPAN” on the headstock detail (see photos).
Olympic white (now naturally slightly yellowed).

Weighs 7.6 lb for those who care about such things.

Comes in a brand new black Gator hard case.
Viewing can be arranged and pick-up preferred. BH21
