First printing of the first trade paperback edition of The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (Scholastic, 2006). Very rare true first paperback edition with original and OOP cover art. Book one in the beloved young adult fantasy series, Percy Jackson & The Olympians. Moderate rubbing/wear to covers, especially around the edges. Corners bumped and some creased. Bottom edge of front cover worn. Spine remains fairly straight and though binding is faintly visible is gutter of copyright page, binding remains firm on the whole. Some slight liquid/humidity damage, causing some pages to be wavy at edges. Top fore corner of covers and text block mildly curved. Tanning pages that are otherwise clean and unmarked.
