Here I have for sale a Della Robbia Pottery,Birkenhead, large Tureen, a rare piece.
The Tureen measures 10.5 inches inches in diameter, not including the handles, and measures 5.75 inches across the base and 8.5 inches in height, with the lid on and to the top of the finial.

The base has the usual Della Robbia Galleon mark, and the Monogram for Alice Louisa Jones.

The Tureen is decorated very well, with a Tudor Rose design on a Typical Della Robbia Turqouise ground, these Tureens dont show up on the Market very often and when they do they are normally missing the lid.

The condition of the Tureen and lid is very good, there has been a little bit of a touch up to the tips of both handles, probably a little bit of glaze loss that caught the eye.

Apart from the above mentioned, there is nothing else to note and there is no other restoration or damage guaranteed, all in a lovely, and rare, piece of Della Robbia.

Any white marks or other are either camera glare or under glaze.

Who ever buys this Tureen will not be disappointed and it would make a great addition to any collection.
