You are bidding on an Original Horsehide leather Patrolman/radio-car jacket in a desirable larger size 46". (check measurements given in description )Pre-owned - these date from the 60s-late 1970s.
This jacket is in very good used condition.
Chest measures 24" X2 -2" = Chest 46",
Shoulder measurement 20",...... from seam to seam across shoulders adjacent to epaulettes.
Arm length from end of epaulet to end of arm 23",........
This jacket is made by one of the NY based uniform providers & is the model with generous proportions the collar is full & the body is a generous cut.
The HORSEHIDE LEATHER TAG is missing but its location is photographed-.This White with black writing tag is typically next to the RH inside snap pocket and is still visible.
The Left hand cuff shows an old expert repair. (which will increase this jackets life-span)
This model is short & very comfortable to wear.The leather is clean, soft and squeaky.
The front zipper is a double acting zipper which can be opened from the waist position when seated in a car or on a motorcycle for comfort.
The original zipper shows a slight misalignment from LH to RH when zipped up initially but no teeth are missing the double acting feature allows re-alignment from bottom.( I am pointing this out for complete transparency as it does not affect the use of the jacket in any way & is the original zipper to the jacket )
The cold weather black fur zip out lining is included.( zips in & out as needed )
