The cassette player's main issue is that it does eat cassette tapes as a couple of different tapes were tested on it.  However, the radio works without issue and the sound comes in nice and clear for the radio.  It is unknown what the sound quality for a cassette would be.  Cosmetically it is still in good condition overall.

It takes two AA batteries which are NOT included.
