Vintage T.H. Witherby Timber Framing 1 & 2 inch Beveled Socket Chisels 16" Long.  Both do have some pitting and the normal wear and tear, Handles are solid but with minor rot and might need to be replace. Nicks have been remove from edges, might need a little more squaring but not much, you will need to put the final edge to your liking. Both are approx. 16 inches long, the 2 inch is from edge to end of socket 12" long, the 1 inch from edge to end of socket is 12 1/2" see pictures for thickness. combine weight for both is approx. 3.5 lbs.

NOTE: the one inch is the only one I can see a marker/ brand as seen on the picture,  the 2 inch I can not see one may need a little more cleaning. Both did come out of the same lot so the 2 inch might be a Witherby as well but not sure.

All my tools are left as found and not restore so the buyer can do as he / she wants. They are clean to be hand handle and in some cases ready for display. Older and vintage tools are clean and surface rust removed so the patina is still visible on tool.

Most of my items come from local Auctions, Estate Sales, Flea Markets, Yard Sales, Church Sales, and Goodwill Stores. They are in used, per-owned vintage condition and sometimes show evidence of wear and age such as light scratches, scuffs, surface rust and dents/dings consistent with its age and use. Unless otherwise stated in my description, the history of my items is unknown. My items are lightly cleaned /dusted but may need a good cleaning or polishing. Some items I do not heavily clean for fear of damaging the surface, or removing the patina. I try my best to evaluate, describe, and photograph any flaws or defects that I see on the items. But sometimes it may slip through the cracks, this is purely an oversight and not intentional, and I will always make the deal right. Items are packaged with great care to assure that they arrive undamaged.
