Driftwood for Aquarium Aquascape Freshwater & Reptiles Habitat | Raw Natrual.

I naturally gather this wood myself and you can look up the river itself . I gather this wood from the "Little Miami River" in Ohio .

The driftwood I gather is sitting for sometime on the river bank . The river does flood so there is no telling how often it comes in contact with water. 

I do not treat the wood . I sit the drift wood in a container of water for a few days and then leave it out to dry in the sun .

If you use this wood you will have to treat it yourself for the best way you will use it . It still does contain tannins. 

There are many ways to treat the wood but I suggest boiling until the water becomes clear . Or unless you perfer the tannins it has it I am sure as it was only sitting in water .

After treating I would imagine this wood will float , but give it time it will sink . This is natural gather wood . So you are in charge of what you will do with it ultimately customize it your way. Feel free to send offers!
