This daguerreotype features a handsome young gentleman wearing a wheel cap and patterned waistcoat. The image was taken by Folger & Co. in Boston, Massachusetts. 

The 1/9 plate has its original seals and the case measures about 2.5 x 3 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
