Koransha was founded in 1876 by Ezaiemon Fukakawa of the famous Arita porcelain family and several partners to produce porcelain for export.

In the early 20th century, the red orchid mark was gradually replaced by other underglaze blue marks. The bottom of the vase has a rust-red orchid pattern brand mark, and the gold at the rim of the vase is lost, but otherwise it is very good, without chips and cracks.

Vase dimensions: 6” high, 3.5” wide.
