This charming German doll has a gloss glazed shoulder head and china hands and lower legs. Her firmly stuffed body is made of muslin patterned with an alphabet illustrated print. Her curly low brow molded hair is black. Her facial features are skillfully painted with blue eyes, rosy cheeks and a delicate mouth as a German-made doll would have. Her shoulder plate has a molded blouse with gold accents. A pet name is embossed on the front of the shoulder plate and accented in gold; "DOROTHY".

Doll measures 13" tall. 

Alphabet printed body, antique German doll has no smokey or odd odors. The body fabric has some wear on the front where the legs meet the torso. No sawdust leaks. Facial paint is intact and bright. Muslin body fabric has browned with age. There is a small chip on the back edge of her shoulder plate. Please inspect photos.
