This is a great vintage mixing bowl. I am not sure of the maker, but its form and color suggest Jeanette. It has several indented rings that resemble those found in turned pottery bowls.

It is 10 inches across and 5 1/2 inches tall.

It is in nice condition with no chips or cracks, though there is some roughness along the inner rim when I run my finger along it. The inner surface is unfinished glass, while the outside has the red color added. It is similar to Pyrex bowls, but the outer surface finish is not as durable. Because of this, there are some area where the red has come off. This is not any large areas, just an accumulation of smaller "scratches". It displays very well and the red losses are primarily apparent when you look at a light through the bowl.
