If I had to guess, I’d put this tablespoon around 1750, well before Chittenden moved to New Haven from Guilford (Madison), CT. This spoon has seen some use in the kitchen but the marks are in great condition. There is no doubt who made this colonial American tablespoon.

This scarce tablespoon is 7 7/8 inches long and weighs 48 grams. The silver is very attractive with this piece. It’s hard to imagine a brighter silver.

I am very happy to start this piece at a great price to give all serious collectors a chance.
