Thorn Brevet 22” Reynolds 525 Cro-Mo steel gents 22” touring/Audax bike Frameset.

A rare model from the Thorn stable.

Thorn is World renowned for their steel touring bikes and tandem frames.

The Brevet model is built with Reynolds 525 CroMo steel tubing with Reynolds 531 forks and Ritchey dropouts.

The frame is straight with no issues or dents,damage etc.

The paint isn’t mint as you can see from the photos (see the last few pics for the worst areas).

It’s in need of a good clean, t-cut and polish so will improve with some tlc but it’s by no means in need of a respray in my opinion.

Quality touring or audax Frameset ready for adventures and anything your legs can take it too.

Included in the sale is the Thorn branded 80mm reach stem, good usable FSA headset, the Thorn branded seatpost which is freely moving and not seized before you ask! and the heavy duty ToPeak Super Tourist DX pannier rack.

I’ve replaced all the fixing Allan bolts with stainless steel ones so rest assured none of them are seized.

The frame measures 22” from centre of BB to top of seat tube.

It’s 23”from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube.

Headtube is 6.5”

Wheelbase (centre of front drop to centre of rear drop is 41”.

Rear spacing is 130mm

Front spacing is 100mm
