Available for purchase is a circa 1830 - 1850 English transfer-print shallow soup bowl.  Blue pattern is a take-off of the common Ontario Lake Scenery pattern.  The wide brim has a visible line where the tissue paper transfer print did not quite match-up and is a unique feature of the bowl.  The bottom of the bowl is stamped into the earthenware with the apparent initials, "?R" or "?B".   The bowl is in very good condition with no visible crazing, cracks or other damage.  The bottom of plate includes some old residue from an adhesive sticker, and should come off with proper cleaning.  Bowl measures  Bowl measures 9 7/8 inches in diameter.
