This camcorder has been used, so it does show signs of use. Also, the hand strap was cut off because it was breaking down and shedding.

Please note that this camcorder only records and plays video on Digital 8 media and is NOT backwards compatible with other 8 mm tapes.

I do not have any Digital 8 media, so this camera is being sold for parts or repair, but I have put an 8 mm tape into it and the tape mechanism does load and play, fast forward, and rewind. (The record and playback HAVE NOT been able to be tested).
