Description: A beautiful late Victorian solid sterling silver table snuff trinket box which has a cylindrical shaped body which is beautifully decorated with embossed decoration of flowers, scrolls, patterns and comes with an empty shield shaped cartouche to the centre of the lid. The borders come with a crimped beaded edged design. The lid is fitted with a hinge and stands on a flat base. The interior is lined with the original gilding and looks stunning. The box is hallmarked with English solid sterling silver hallmarks to the interior and the outside of the lid rim hallmarked with matching marks. Comes with no hand engraved presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms, family crest marks or anything erased.
Excellent quality which is beautifully decorated with splendid decoration and is of 124 years of age a splendid Antique from the Late Victorian period. A beautiful box which is of a lovely small size and weighs 36 grams of solid sterling silver. An lovely all original example. Would make a superb addition to anyones collection. A fine example.

Measurements: Height 4 cm, diameter across lid 5 cm and base 5 cm. Interior depth of the box 3.5 cm
Condition report: Excellent condition for its 124 years of age with no nasty dents, holes, splits or repairs. Just has one small ding to the outer of the body which is hardly noticeable or anything major. The all over embossed decoration is in superb condition with no wear issues and looks as good as they day it was made. The underneath of the box is in excellent condition with no wear issues or damage. The hinged lid opens perfectly well and closes tightly shut with no play. The interior is lined with gilding and is in excellent condition with no issues. All the hallmarks are in excellent clear condition with no wear from polishing. A stunning example which comes in a lovely design and is beautifully decorated.
