This is an Eames Aluminum Group Management Desk Chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1958. This particular chair was produced in 1998. The design sports a solid yet lightweight aluminum frame, and is extremely well-made. The aluminum frame and base are finished in a graphite enamel coating. The upholstery is done in a dark red hued geometric fabric. It has a tilt feature and a full 360-degree swivel. This model features a manual lift mechanism, and has a swiveling base on casters.

The chair measures 23 inches long, 23 inches wide, and 34 inches high. Its original upholstery has wear apparent along edges and corners. The base and the arms are in good condition, and have a few dings to the finish. There is some patina present underneath the frame. The overall condition of this chair is good, with some signs of wear to be expected. Please see photos.
