Hebert Freres Paris Signed J Pascault Hand Painted Madame Dubarry Portrait Plate

Nice 19th century porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated with a very nicely done hand painted portrait of Madame Dubarry. With scalloped gold gilding along the edge. The portrait is signed by the artist J Pascault. Marked on the reverse in red with the name of the portrait Mdm Dubarry and below Hebert Fres 3 Rue de la Paix, Paris. There are no manufacturers marks on the plate, but it appears to be English bone china decorated or retailed in Paris.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 9 inches wide.
