Tamiya 1/10 Electric RC Car Series No.336 Hornet Off-Road 58336 Plastic

Description

The RC Hornet, which debuted in 1984 and sparked a boom in 2WD off-road cars, is an electric radio-controlled buggy assembly kit designed for agile handling on both on-road and off-road terrains. Its overall length is 15.75 inches, overall height is 5.9 inches, and overall width is 9.06 inches, with a vehicle weight of 1.93 pounds. The chassis is constructed from a bathtub-type frame and extensively uses engineering plastics in the suspension arms and gearbox to achieve a lightweight yet strong structure. The front suspension features a swing axle independent system with coil springs, while the rear sports a rolling rigid axle with high shock-absorbing oil dampers. It includes a sealed gearbox to prevent the intrusion of sand and pebbles typical in off-road conditions, and also has a built-in differential gear for smooth cornering. Both front and rear wheels are realistically detailed three-piece assembly types; the front wheels have grooved tires for better directionality, and the rear wheels are equipped with high-grip spike tires. The body is made from lightweight, shock-resistant polycarbonate. Transmitter, speed controller, receiver, servo, and 7.2V battery are sold separately.
