I have owned the car for two years and in that time has been on full rego and has been used on demand. 

It is a 1200 with 4 speed manual transmission.  The car was restored by the previous owner back in 2007.  It has held up very well, there are a couple of small areas of corrosion in the hanging panels none of which have got worse in my time with the car. 

It runs and drives very well and has been utterly reliable.  

Being a 1961 it is a pre fuel guage car.  It has the reserve kick lever on the floor and there is a dip stick for the fuel tank.  

I love this car to bits, but life has gotten in the way of fun and I need to find the Beetle a new home. 

It is currently licensed in WA. 

I have set a reserve on the auction and will let it run to the end. You are bidding to buy, the car is not advertised elsewhere. 

If you are an overseas or eastern states buyer, I am happy to deliver the vehicle to any shipping depot in the Perth metro area. The car will not be released until all funds are cleared into my account. Freight costs are at the buyers expense.  The rego plates will be removed prior to shipping.
