This was the first quarto edition of this version ever printed. In 1612. The very first edition in 1611 was Pulpit Folio size.

Leaves from this Bible measure approximately 8.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide. They were printed on 100% rag cotton linen sheet, not wood-pulp paper like books today, so they remain in excellent condition… even after over 400 years. Each leaf is a unique piece of ancient artwork, carefully produced one-at-a-time by the King’s printers using a movable-type press, and later bound together into whole Bibles.

🙏This is from a Bible that was beyond restoring. No Bible was destroyed to get this.

CONDITION:

**Page has shifted slightly in frame. I tightened it, but did not open it. You can do this to readjust the page easily with a flat head screwdriver

**Very slight signs that this is a vintage used item. Faint scuffs on Lucite that won't show in photos.
