Here we have for sale my 2011 LWB Movano van.
The van is automatic. Cab has air con and aftermarket cruise control.
MOT currently expires 17th October 2024.
There is a set of expensive hand controls installed. They can be unbolted if you wanted too. They do not affect the driving of the van in anyway.
I have started to convert this into a camper. So far the majority of the rear has sound deadening, partially insulated. Recycled bottles and Kingspan 50mm in the roof. Tye floor is all insulated with kingspan, vapour barrier installed and flooring screwed back down.
The engine runs and drives faultlessly. It has developed a fault. It at times, knock itself into neutral at low speed. I found knocking it back into gear and it was away again.
I have taken it to vauxhall main dealer, they diagnosed a clutch.
I have decided to go another route, well tye wife has, a caravan. Therefore I'm not willing to spend the money.
The van was a cat C. Nearside front wing damaged. All repaired before I purchased it.
The van is currently SORN so that will need dealing with before its driven away.
I will leave the 5 full sheets of ply in the back if the van makes reasonable money. There is spare insulation and sound deadening ill leave in as well.
I'll be clearing the mattress and all my personal bits and bobs out.
