This listing is for 6 Giant Trailing Fuchsia Mixed plug plants.

Giant Tailing fuchsia have huge flowers which bloom from early spring right up until the first frosts of winter. They require little attention with the occasional dead heading they will continue to flower all season.

These are excellent in hanging baskets or patio pots either on their own or mixed with other trailing plants such as trailing petunias, geraniums, lobelia etc.

You will receive a mix of 6 different unnamed varieties and a great selection is always guaranteed. The picture shown is an example of some of the varieties which we sell.

These cuttings have all been stopped ie had the tips pinched out and have new buds showing which will branch out quickly once planted.

The majority of our plants are grown in  peat pots which have a biodegradable  mesh. The roots will grow easily through this mesh and removing it can damage the roots and effect growth so we do not recommend removing it.

Please look at the pictures above so that you can see the normal size of the plugs (shown beside a £1 coin for scale) which you will receive.

We have over 30 years experience in production and mail order of plug plants.

Caring for your plugs

Plugs should be planted into a good quality peat or John Innes based compost. We do not recommend growing in organic, peat free or homemade compost as too many nutrient problems can occur.

The majority of our plants are grown in  peat pots which have a biodegradable  mesh. The roots will grow easily through this mesh and removing it can damage the roots and effect growth so we do not recommend removing it.

We recommend potting into 9cm pots or packs on arrival and planting into borders and tubs when the roots have filled the pots.

Plants should be grown in a well lit and well ventilated environment. Strict hygene should be observed to avoid disease problems. Light feeding should begin 3 weeks after planting. After 4 weeks plants should be budded up and ready for potting on into borders pots or baskets.

These plants should be protected from frost at all times.

We do our best to ensure that plants arrive in the best possible condition but sometimes packages get damaged in the post. If this happens we require photographic proof of damage before any action can be taken.

Happy growing.
