GEK-T PTFE Lined Series Bearings

Carbon Steel Body, Hard Chrome Plated Ball


McGill GEK-T PTFE Lined Series Bearings have 3 components; the ball, the liner and the outer race. The ball is inserted into the body and the body is then swaged around the ball to lock it in and it is then loosened to allow it to move. The body is made from Carbon Steel, the ball is hard chrome plated. These bearings are ideal for use in areas which require a tight fitted ball. These bearings are ideal for use in areas where the joint is constantly in motion as the liner insures the ball moves freely without any knocking or play being induced. These are commonly used in motorsport and on industrial equipment. These joints do not require lubrication.

Internal Circlip

McGill retaining circlips have been stamped out of sheet metal. These are designed for use with our range of imperial sized bearings and housings. These are commonly used in motorsport and on industrial equipment.

Circlip can be installed/removed with the use of circlip pliers. These circlips have been designed to hold our 1/2" bearing into the housing. A bearing slots into the housing and the circlip holds it in place.
 
*Please note: Care should be taken to ensure that the lipped section is acting in the direction against the main force attempting to pull the bearing out when the vehicle is in use. The circlip is only in place to prevent lateral movement and to hold the self weight of the bearing.*
