Most K&N air filters typically need to be cleaned every 50,000 miles. Cleaning your K&N filter is very simple, follow the 4 steps below:


1. CLEANING
Spray K&N filter cleaner spray or K&N Power Kleen™ generously on both sides of the filter and let it absorb for approx. 10 min. so that the dirt dissolves.
Do not let the liquid on the air filter dry


2. FLUSHING

Wash the air filter with cold running water at low pressure on the clean side until the dirt has come out of the filter and until all traces of the cleaner have disappeared. If necessary repeat steps 1 and 2.


3. DRYING

Gently shake off any remaining water and let air dry. Do not use oil until the filter is completely dry.


4. OILING

Aerosol Oil (99-5003EU)
Spray K&N air filter oil evenly onto the filter while holding the canister at a distance of approx. 8cm. Let the oil absorb for approx. 20 minutes. Spray oil on the parts that are not soaked until the filter is completely red.
