Lot of 7 pairs of door knobs and escutcheons manufactured by Penn Hardware.  The pattern is called Charlton in their catalogs and was manufactured between 1915 and 1927.  Escutcheon plates measure 2 1/8" x 8".  Door knobs have a diameter of approximately 2 1/4".  The hardware is stamped steel with an applied brass finish. Knobs show wear to finish from years of use.  Mortise lock bodies are cast iron with a steel face.  One lock body is marked YALE, some are plain, and some have roman numerals in the casting.  All were salvaged from the same house prior to demolition.  One knob does have some silver paint slop on the face.  See the last image.  All set screws are present.  You will need screws for the mortise locks and escutcheon plates.  Great patina.  I will leave final cleaning up to the buyer.  Sets will be partially disassembled for packing and shipping.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding or buying.  Additional pictures and measurements available upon request.  All sales final.  No returns accepted.  Please check my other listing for similar items.
