Here I have for sale a very nice hard to find heavy gauge solid brass 2 lever box lock or blanket chest lock complete with 1 working period key (non original key, but still works the lock very well with a nice firm spring action) and the original solid cast brass keeper plate.  

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection and dates from the late 1930's era (1939). 

It is in good working order and excellent used condition and it looks great ! 

This great lock is now a collector's item due to its vintage age and it's rarity. 

This is a very nice quality 2 lever secure large box/chest lock from the late 1930's era. 

This lock is in good working order complete with 1 matching period key (non original) and the Original cast brass keeper plate.

Please see all 24 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it has. The pictures also show some relevant measurements that may be needed. 

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Size of lock top face is 77.5 mm long by approx 14 mm wide (this is the top side with the two square holes).

Size of lock back plate is 77.5 mm long by 42.5 mm high. 

The distance between the top edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin is, is 27 mm.

The measurements of the lock case that is recessed into the wood and hidden is approx 50.5 mm wide by 36 mm high by 9 mm deep. 

Size of the keeper plate is 77.5 mm long by 14 mm wide.

The total length of the key is 60 mm.
