Today we are pleased to offer for sale a wonderful pair of antique French candlestick lamps!

This elegant pair, from the late 19th century, is very finely crafted and detailed. Each candlestick (now converted to electricity) is done in the neoclassical Louis XVI style, featuring a pair of patinated bronze putti holding cornucopias while standing atop a gilt bronze ormolu rocky formation, supported by a white marble fluted column draped with neoclassical ormolu swag, on a oval base with ormolu collar and four elegant feet. Each lamp is now converted to electricity, with candelabra-sized sockets and gold silk rayon-wrapped cords with in-line switches. The pair will add old world French elegance to any fine interior!

The pair presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. The marble on both lamps has minor wear, light discoloration/patina, and a few minor fleabites/chips around edge of base. The ormolu and figures have minor wear, tarnish/oxidation and minor scuffing. Both lamps are in working condition. Please review all photos.

Dimensions: 20-1/4" in height (bottom to top of candle socket), 7" in length, 5-1/8" in depth; cord length approx. 140"
