We decided to set up a new shop devoted to antiques and fine interiors as our shop was getting so large.

Hallmarked Sterling Silver Tankard by Turner & Simpson Ltd BIRMINGHAM 1965

DESCRIPTION: Here we have a lovely hallmarked silver tankard. The tankard with a lovely shaped and detailed handle. Hallmarked with an Anchor for Birmingham, a date letter 'Q’ for 1965 and the makers mark 'T & S’ for 'Turner & Simpson Ltd' who were based in Legge Lane, Birmingham

DIMENSIONS: The approximate maximum dimensions of the cup are 5.5 inches / 14 cm side / 3.5 inches / 9 cm diameter x  5 1/4 inches /13 cm high and the approximate wight is 342.7 g

AGE: The the date mark of a 'Q’ dates this to 1965.

CONDITION: The tankard is in nice condition but there is a small dent to the foot and a small dent to the front and slight unevenness to the base which can be viewed in the photographs; and as can be seen from the photographs just minor marks commensurate with age and from use. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.

Overall this is a lovely silver tankard, so happy bidding.
